PGCIL Recruitment 2024: The Powergrid Energy Services Limited (PESL) has officially released the notification for the recruitment of 117 Trainee Engineer and Supervisor Posts. Eligible candidates can submit online applications at www.powergrid.in. Candidates can submit applications starting from 16 October to 06 November 2024.
In this PGCIL Trainee Engineer and Supervisor Recruitment 2024, Th PGCIL has announced to fill 47 vacancies for Trainee Engineer posts and 70 Trainee Supervisors posts. Those candidates who have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a B.Tech/ B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering are eligible to apply for these vacancies.

PGCIL Electrical Recruitment 2024 Important Dates:

Pay Scale:
Selected candidates shall undergo training for one year. They will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.30,000 -1,20,000/-, IDA, HRA, and Perks @ 12% of Basic Pay per month during the training period. On successful completion of 1-year training, they will be placed as Asstt. Engineer at E0 level in the pay scale of Rs.30,000 -1,20,000/- (IDA).
PESL also offers facilities like Conveyance Advance, Multi-Purpose Advance, Medical facilities for self and dependents, etc. to its regular employees in accordance with the policies of the organization from time to time.
PGCIL Recruitment 2024 Application Fee:
For PGCIL Trainee Engineer: Payment of Application fee (Non-refundable) Rs. 500/-, wherever applicable). SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DESM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
For PGCIL Trainee Supervisor: Payment of Application fee (Non-refundable) Rs. 300/- and SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DESM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.

Education Qualifications Required:
For PGCIL Trainee Engineer: Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks or Equivalent CGPA.
For PGCIL Trainee Supervisor: Full Time Regular Three Years Diploma in relevant discipline of engineering or equivalent* from recognized
Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS Candidates and pass marks
for SC/ST/PwBD.
PGCIL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit:
A candidate must be at least 21 years old and not older than 28 years old as of 06 November 2024.
PGCIL Trainee Supervisor (Electrical) and Trainee Engineer Selection Process:
The selection process for the Trainee Supervisor (Electrical) and Trainee Engineer position at POWERGRID Energy Services Limited (PESL) involves a Written Test / Computer-based Test (CBT), Computer Skill Test (CST), and Medical Examination.
Written Test / Computer-based Test (CBT):
- Part I: Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) with 120 objective-type questions from the Electrical discipline.
- Part II: Aptitude Test (AT) with 50 objective-type questions covering vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, and numerical ability.
Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the CBT and CST (if applicable) will undergo a pre-employment medical examination.
